Working with our clients to design
the perfect space
Here at ECC Kitchen & Bath, there is a “basic process” that we implement; however, every project is different and every client is different. So, often we find that our process is a little different each project we work on. Our biggest goal is to work with each client on their needs and comfort level throughout the process.
1. Initial Call
This is an initial phone call to make sure ECC Kitchen & Bath is best suited for your project and we can meet your expectations.
2. Discovery Consultation/Initial Working Budget Phase
During this consultation, we will discuss your must-haves, wants, needs, and budget to ensure we fully understand your vision for the project. Field measurements will be taken to accurately assess the space. About a week after the site visit, we will meet in our showroom to review the initial working budget, where we’ll outline the expected costs. Once this document is signed, we will move forward to the next phase, which is Design Conception, where we begin bringing your ideas to life.
3. Design Phase
This is the phase where we generate ideas and develop creative solutions. We begin by creating drawings to help visualize the design intention. Initial selections are compiled into Vision Boards, allowing you to review the overall design concept. Once we establish an initial design, it is emailed to you for feedback. It is common to go through several revisions before final approval. During the selections phase, we focus on key elements such as plumbing fixtures, cabinetry, hard surfaces, and other materials. Based on the approved design concept, we then develop a detailed and realistic budget. Once the final design is complete, it is presented for your review and approval.
4. Procurement Phase
We will begin the process by preparing purchase orders and the necessary documentation to initiate the ordering of materials. ECC will be responsible for handling all aspects of the ordering, logistics, and inspection of the materials. It is important to note that ECC will not commence the production phase of your project until all required materials have been successfully received and checked into our warehouse. This ensures that everything is in place before starting the production process, avoiding any delays or issues during the project.
5. Production Phase
At this stage, ECC Project Manager ensures everything proceeds smoothly according to plan. We will maintain communication on Job Tread’s Platform for Discussion and meeting notes tracking. Additionally, we will conduct the Punch List walk-through with the client to ensure that any final adjustments or corrections are addressed before substantial completion.
6. Substantial Completion Phase
Once in the final project reaches substantial completion, you will walk through the site with your project manager, where he/she will hand over the Punchlist paperwork. At which time you will have 7 days to complete any punch list item lists for ECC to address.
7. Punch List Phase
During the Punch List phase, we will address any touch-ups or items that were discussed during your final job walk that require attention. This includes fixing any outstanding details or corrections to ensure the project is completed to your satisfaction.
