Working with our clients to design
the perfect space
Here at ECC Kitchen & Bath, there is a “basic process” that we implement; however, every project is different and every client is different. So, often we find that our process is a little different each project we work on. Our biggest goal is to work with each client on their needs and comfort level throughout the process.
1. The Initial
Call
This is a 15-minute Zoom or phone call to make sure ECC Kitchen & Bath is best suited for your project and we can meet your expectations. (Free of charge.) We will talk about your budget, goals, timeline, preferences and more. We want to make sure that working together is in both of our best interests.
2. Discovery Consultation
During this consultation, we learn about your must-haves, wants/needs and budget. Field Measurements will be taken. After our visit, we will email over an Initial Working budget range for you to review. This reflects the scope and range of costs associated with the buildout of your project. Essentially, this is an educated guesstimate as to what the costs can amount to based off many years in the field estimating. Once this document is signed, we will start the next phase of Design Conception.
3. Design Conception
This is where we generate ideas and develop solutions. We will create drawings and elevations which will help with visualization of design intention. Initial Selections are put together on Vision Boards, for you to see your overall design concept. Once we have a general design it will be presented for feedback and approvals to proceed.
4. The Vision Phase
We finalize the selections phase including furniture, selections and materials. Based off Design Conception we develop the budget break down. Once we have a final design it will be presented to the client for feedback and approvals to proceed. A contract is then presented, signed and the deposit to begin the project is paid.
5. Purchase Phase
Present the design concept to Contractor and possible subs for bidding purposes. (Should a contractor not be selected yet). We will prepare purchase orders and various documents to start the ordering process of materials. This is when ECC Kitchen & Bath has your approved and signed contract of the design and scope of work we start purchasing all the selections.
6. Production Phase
This is where ECC Kitchen & Bath make sure everything goes according to plan. We will maintain meeting minutes, project records and all communication and project management supervision. We will also do the Punch List walk through with the client and contractor.
7. Project Completion Phase
Once in the final phase or project completion, you will walk through the site with your project manager, where he/she will hand over the Punchlist and warranty paperwork. At this point we here at ECC Kitchen & Bath look forward to setting up our photography session. Cheers!
